I just wanted to say thank you. I know I'm not the only one who feels that your music has had a substantial impact on their life. I was a FMF Corpsman from 2003-2007 and have struggled with PTSD for years. Twice in my life I felt as if it would overwhelm me and I wouldn't be able to continue. First, when I started medical school and secondly when my long term relationship ended very suddenly and unexpectedly. Both times I felt as if I had reached a point where I had overcome enough that it wouldn't impact my life in a very real and potentially detrimental way. However, both times, the emotion and stress that came from these events sent me spiraling downward. The first time, I don't know how, but I came across "A Song of Simplicity" by chance. It evoked emotions of hope and strength in me like nothing I had ever heard. It felt as if it almost spoke to me and lent me strength to move forward. When things got hard again, I remembered your music and it was almost like having an old friend return and offering comfort and encouragement. So, I just want to say thank you for all you have done for me and just know that you have had an impact that is greater than you know.

Elijah, you are amazing. I feel the emotion that comes through in your music, and it reaches deep down into my soul. As a fellow pianist, I often close my eyes and imagine that your music is flowing through my fingers and onto the keyboard in a rhythmic dance of the spirit. Thank you for the inspiration.

Elijah, I think Joshua Hall said all the heavy stuff perfectly. I want to add that I am 80 years old. I have accomplished much in my life, and had my share of failures too. I realized a few years ago that my biggest regret was never learning to make music. I am an accomplished photographer and amateur writer ...for the creative outlet, but... damn I need to make music. Next week I go looking for a piano teacher who will take on an 80 year old man. Your music is so enjoyable and inspirational that I assumed you had spent a lifetime honing your craft. When I went to your bio page, I completely freaked: A young veteran and a Marine no less. Not a gray hair in sight. Please, please keep writing, playing, performing, sharing your gift with us. (Not that anyone could likely talk you out of that). Semper Fi.

I feel so luck to have you living in the same state. I hope you will hold a concert in NWWA soon. I tear up hearing your recordings. To hear you play live is a dream.

Elijah, I love your music! I shared it with my 12 year old grandson who is taking lessons. I would love to take him to one of your concerts. Please come back to Grand Rapids to play for your hometown!

I can’t find the right words to thank you for your music. Like I can’t express the feelings that this music touches in me. Wonderful music!

Your music is breathtaking. I have a very intense job, with long hours, all numbers and your music keeps me focused as I work. What an amazing gift. You have inspired me more than I could properly communicate. I thank you so very much for your music, and for your service.
